Laminate flooring is a good option for many homeowners because it can be installed regardless of the layout style. Also, avoid using abrasives like steel wool or scouring pads on laminate floors because they can scratch the surface. Using a soft cloth and warm water for cleaning is ideal.

My community worked with Footprints Floors of NE Atlanta for a remodel of our condominium clubhouse. The floors in the clubhouse had not been touched in probably 20 years or longer. The carpet was frayed, dried up and falling apart, the flooring underneath was in bad repair, there were bugs everywhere... suffice it to say, pulling out the old carpet on the top floor, landing and stairway was a mess. We also had old tile in the kitchen and storage room area, both in the same bad shape as the carpet. FF of NE Atl took care of replacing the carpet and flooring with ease. The hardest part for the condo board members was to choose the color and style of the flooring/carpet. We chose an industrial strength type of Berber carpet that's used in commercial buildings (for durability) and an LVT type of flooring for the kitchen/storage area that would be waterproof and durable. They took care of all aspects of the job and now that it's complete our homeowners are quite amazed at the difference (many did not want to spend money refurbishing the clubhouse but we had to do it) and now appreciate that we have a space that people can use to entertain in or that we can eventually hold our meetings in person again. I've since heard that some of our residents contacted FF of NE Atl to do their individual units and that they were very pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend their service. Justin and Greg did a great job for us and I'm sure I will see them around our community again helping others with their flooring issues.

Footprints Flooring was a pleasure to work with. I had made several calls to a number of other hardwood flooring companies to receive bids on two different houses. The first job was for a rental home that had water damage from an unreported, refrigerator water leak. Several of the companies on wanted photos of the damage instead of coming out to quote bids. Greg, with Footprints Flooring came out and assessed the damage, gave us options, and a very reasonable price to repair/replace damaged slats. He also did a good job setting our expectations on how the replacement boards will not look exactly like the original 50+ year old original floors. The second job was to re-coat our hardwood floors in our other house with polyurethane. Footprints Flooring again gave us a fair bid. They showed up with an impressive team of guys to perform the job and they did a beautiful job. Footprints Flooring was very punctual with all appointments for the bid and to start both jobs. They have been very responsive to phone calls or text messages. I even received photos as the jobs were progressing. Greg, their GM, was present for both jobs insuring quality control. I highly recommend Footprints Flooring and we will be calling them again for any additional work that we may need.

We had 3 or 4 other quotes prior to consulting Footprints Floors. After speaking with Greg we were impressed with the way he explained and answered our concerns. A few days before the installation of our laminate flooring we were contacted by Nicole letting us know what time the crew would be arriving. In that conversation she let us know that the flooring had to be inside so it to acclimate to the inside temperature. I explained that I have a bad back and I couldnāt move 65 boxes of flooring. They installed LVP on my entire ground floor and in my upstairs restrooms. Had to reschedule the installation two times because of various issues on their end and so it ended up starting on a Saturday. As the demo work began we found more floor preparation was needed than originally thought. They took on those additional costs to compensate for the inconvenience of rescheduling. It took a bit longer than what I would have liked, but they were very attentive as it was progressing. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the quality of work and their level of communication during the installation. They were always trying to look out for my best interests.

We recently purchased a house with horrendously ugly tile floors. (Some of the tiles were a different color than the rest!) After a getting quotes from a few different companies, I chose Footprints to install our PVC-free LVP flooring.
