They brought in more crew to finish the job on time since the demolition portion took longer than expected. Footprints Floors Northern LA Valleys installed solid bamboo flooring in my 112-year-old home and did a fabulous job. The most significant selling point for me? The integrity of owner Alfonso Ferreira and his two-person crew. They kept me informed and offered solutions at every step of the way. While demoing the kitchen floor, for example, they discovered thick plywood had been glued and screwed to the original tongue-and-groove subfloor. It had to be removed, or it would interrupt the continuous flow of bamboo flooring throughout the house. Though it added an extra day to the job, they managed to pry off the plywood and smooth the battered subfloor. The guys did an amazing job. They were communicative, respectful, and honest. In short, I trust Footprints Floors and would strongly recommend them to anybody looking for a reliable and trustworthy flooring contractor.

Footprints Floors refinished my hardwood floors in less than four days. Their quote was reasonable and they treated my home as if it was theirs. They also moved my furniture both in and out, without any damage. They also replace my old baseboards with more modern ones. Alphonso worked with me on the timing for the job so we could ensure good weather. I needed them to return after the job was completed to fill in one, minor gap. And they did so within a few days. I was always dealing with Alfonso from the estimate to setting up when the job would be done and completed. He was very professional answered all my questions and concerns. I felt he understood how important this job meant to me. The crew that actually did the job was very good. They made my hardwood floors look brand new. The job was estimated to be a three day job but it was done in two because of the number of men assigned to doing the job.

We used Footprint floors to do three bedrooms and a hallway. They were professional and extremely responsive. They allowed us to adjust what we wanted a few times to get the work/price that we were comfortable with. Their work is so good, I was actually FLOORED! The response time was beyond fast when I posted a request on Angi, and was even able to schedule a bid for the project the same day. Alfonso and George stopped by and inspected the small outdoor patio and adjoining guest room that I wanted to remove the carpet and replace with terra cotta tile. We purchased the house from a flipper, and had no idea what lay under the squeeking carpet. The charge to level the room for the tile was lower than we expected. George and Alfonso were very professional from start to finish. They were involved with overseeing the entire project. Nery and Jose did a beautiful job on my shower tile, and bathroom floor. They made sure my staircase carpet was covered, and everything around the project was protected. They cleaned up nicely afterwards as well. I highly recommend this company for any tile or flooring jobs needed.

Everything went great. They were very responsive and finished installation two days ahead of schedule. They were able to match the new flooring almost perfectly to the other flooring that was in the remainder of the home. Great work!!!
