After 5 years of having renters in our home, our 1980s, dark hardwood floors had taken a serious beating and we were ready for an upgrade - we wanted white oak floors in a chevron pattern! I scheduled meetings with several flooring companies but almost immediately I knew that Footprints Flooring would get our business. The pricing was competitive but what really sold me was that Adam said he wouldn’t rest until I was 100% happy and that he would be putting the A team on my job. I’m happy to report that he definitely understood the assignment & delivered on that promise! What was most important to me was that this job was done correctly and with the highest quality of workmanship possible. There were many tricky things on this job and doing a chevron pattern requires a lot of precision and planning to ensure that it’s done correctly. There were several challenges that came up throughout the job, I had wainscoting that wouldn’t allow for a regular baseboard replacement, curved walls and we ended up refinishing my stairs and banister which turned out to be red oak instead of white oak so it was a challenge to find a stain to match the new white oak floors. Every one of these obstacles was approached in a very professional manner by Adam and his team and I was presented with a myriad of solutions that I was able to choose from. I felt so good about the work that I ended up adding in 3 more rooms once we started and I am so grateful that I did. I feel like my property value just hit a new high! The floors look gorgeous and I’m already planning our next job together.

We selected Footprints Floors after interviewing several tile installation companies. They quickly responded and met with us the next day. Adam was very knowledgeable and shared creative ideas with us. We had trouble finding a tile that would work with our existing flooring, which was discontinued. Adam contacted his suppliers and was able to find the tile we wanted, and at a better price. As well, his pricing is very competitive with other companies. His workmen were polite, helpful and did a thorough cleanup each day. They completed the work in 3 1/2 days. We were delighted since the original quote was 4-5 days . And this was with the shipping company loosing two boxs of our tiles. Adam jumped in and found the same tiles in San Diego and had them trucked to our home in the San Fernando Valley in one day. It is so important to hire highly experienced and capable sources . We were fortunate to find Adam and Footprints Floors.

Honestly I’m so glad I found adam on offer up and decided to go with him his work is amazing and the floors are 10/10. I love how professional he was, and explained everything detailed. Tile-Work is a trade that needs a lot of responsibility and I was very nervous to hire anybody because when they start laying tiles, they can very quickly mess it up and cost you a fortune on materials without the proper planning and knowledge.
