While demoing the kitchen floor, for example, they discovered thick plywood had been glued and screwed to the original tongue-and-groove subfloor. It had to be removed, or it would interrupt the continuous flow of bamboo flooring throughout the house. Though it added an extra day to the job, they managed to pry off the plywood and smooth the battered subfloor. The guys did an amazing job. They were communicative, respectful, and honest.
