Tyler Paratore is proud to be the owner of Footprints Floors of Trenton/Camden. Growing up in the South Jersey area, he attended Rutgers University-Camden, where he met his lovely fiancé, and business partner, Shayla. Tyler graduated from Rutgers in 2019 and went on to get a master’s degree from Drexel University as well.
Tyler spent 4 1⁄2 years with Amazon, working primarily in a delivery station, but after purchasing his first home, one of the first things he learned was how frustrating it can be to use contractors to accomplish home renovation projects. From unrealistic expectation setting, poor communication, and seemingly random price points, it gave him a real taste for what other homeowners in his community were experiencing. Because of this experience, Tyler felt compelled to start a home services business, specializing in flooring, booth wood, tile, LVP, and the like, as well as showers, and kitchen backsplashes, to help change what he felt was really lacking within the industry.
Through his own experience, Tyler learned the true value of transparency, honesty, and genuine care when serving his customers. Tyler’s years at Amazon, managing dozens of drivers and delivery routes, forced him to be attentive to details, and to prioritize communication, all while appreciating both his crews, and the end recipients. It is these skill sets, along with others, that Tyler promises to bring to each one of his home renovation projects, knowing that a person’s home is something that holds tremendous value, both monetarily and sentimentally. It is here where many of life’s most precious memories are made, and he wants to honor that by providing the best service experience he can.
During his free time, Tyler loves to spend time in the gym, playing with his 3 dogs, or tending to his saltwater fish tank. Shayla and he also love to travel together, with their most recent highlight being their trip to Greece, which is actually where they got engaged. Growing up in South Jersey, Tyler is also, of course, an avid Philadelphia sports fan, Go Birds!
