We had a really difficult project involving an old original barn floor. Sean did a lot of research and came up with an incredible (and historic) solution, and talked us out of flooring over it. The end result is gorgeous and really preserved the original character beautifully. We engaged him again right away to replace another floor with some locally-milled wide pine. It was an unusual material and an odd space, but again, the end result was amazing and we love it. I’m sure Sean and his team could handle any standard flooring or refinishing project without breaking a sweat, but if you have something unusual or historic to deal with, call Footprints right away.

Also, we had an open slot where the room getting the new floor was not going to be in use and he managed his schedule to fit us in that slot - which led to minimum disruption on our side. I hired Footprints Floors to refinish our red oak hardwood floors that had been hidden under carpet for decades. Sean was extremely friendly and offered a straightforward process with reasonable pricing. Although the work was finished in just two days for nearly 800 square feet, I had noticed several chips, nail holes, and tack board holes were not filled and sanded. Sean came right out the next day after I notified him of these imperfections, documented them, and scheduled his workers to return for touch-up. After all is said and done, I wish the floors were done 100% the first time, but they ultimately came out amazing and I am very happy with the result.

Sean and his team install a Flooret vinyl plank floor in our kitchen on 10/30. They did a great job and we are very satisified with his work. Sean and team went up and beyond. Installers were accommodating and particular about their work. They cleaned up after the job. Sean stands behind his work. I noticed a small issue with one piece of moulding 4-5 days later. I called Sean and he came over the next day to repair it. He sent about 2 hours and bought materials. Very trustworthy individual. I would hire him for another job.
