Alex Afrifa, who immigrated to the US from Ghana, Africa over 20 years ago, is the proud owner of Footprints Floors of Bridgeport, a local family owned flooring company aimed at providing the best quality service and product in residential remodeling projects! While originally from Ghana, Alex has called the northeast, specifically New York and Connecticut home, since moving here. Originally Alex trained as a teacher, then progressed to being a licensed registered nurse for 15 years, while at the same time pastoring a multicultural church in Bridgeport. The common theme throughout Alex’s entire career has been that of educating, caring, and training people on best practices and approaches to meeting goals.
Throughout his professional career, Alex has always placed a high value on ethics, honesty, integrity, and excelled at compassionately caring for the comfort, happiness and satisfaction of those he is serving. It is because of these strong motivations within him that led Alex to starting his own business in the flooring industry. Not every trade in the remodeling process has as strong and lasting an impact, as beautifully refinished floors, or elegantly laid tile. Knowing that his appreciation for beautiful aesthetics, as well as his pension for being highly detailed, Alex is working hard to improve his customers' experience with flooring contractors.
