Wow! What a great job Ini did on our floors. We have 19 year old red oak sand and seal floors that had seen better days. The transformation is hard to believe. The oil based original finish had turned the wood an orange tinge, and our dogs had gouged areas of the floor by the doors. The floors are clear and bright now and there is no evidence of dogs anywhere on the floor. Great work. Highly recommend.

I first want to start by saying look no further for a flooring contractor. We searched around for months to find a contractor to get our floor repaired and replaced before we found Footprints Gastonia. After multiple no shows and really ridiculous estimates, we came across Ini and his team. They were immediately responsive, Ini gave us a quote while he was here for the estimate and the price was hundreds less than other estimates. From working in construction for 18+ years I can tell you that you will not find another team in Belmont/Gastonia/Charlotte area like Footprints Gastonia. They went above and beyond all my extremely high expectations. They worked hard to get it completed in the time they had projected for the project and the results were absolutely exceptional. So enter Ini and Footprints Floors - Gastonia. Ini and his crew helped us with our master bathroom remodel. They removed the old "Saved By The Bell" vinyl flooring, removed and reinstalled the toilet, installed the tile of our choice, and finished the project with .25 quarter round. Ini and his crew were great! Even though I hired them for tile work they were able to fix what my framers messed up when building the framing around my fireplace. Joe and Jose were able to get creative with installing the recessed trim around the double sided fireplace. Jose did top notch quality work and followed all of the house instructions as far as cleaning up the work sight after he was done, making sure the door was closed as he went in and out to cut tile, and him and his helpers kept their mask on the entire time. Jose also did a phenomenal job installing the pencil tile around the rain head and cutting 45’s in the corners so that the installation would look clean. He even hid the seams of the cuts with a white caulk so that the pieces would look continuous. Overall Ini and his team did an excellent job for an affordable and fair price. Definitely would recommend them and I’ll be using them again for my next major tile project!

We had Ini and his team come in to finish a project that another contractor vanished on about 1/3 of the way in. He arrived on time to provide a quote and was professional and caring to the needs of the client. His subcontractor Carlos exemplified the same qualities and they both worked with us to overcome many obstacles and complete the project within the short time frame we had. They both knew it is our first home and wanted to make sure our experience was positive, especially after the bad luck we were having with other contractors. The completed work was great. We used the same flooring as the previous owners to redo the bedrooms and in my opinion the installation is much higher quality than what the previous owners had done with the rest of the home. Ini and Carlos were honest, friendly and we will be recommending them to whoever we know needs flooring work done and calling them back for any of our future work!

Wow! What a great job Ini did on our floors. We have 19 year old red oak sand and seal floors that had seen better days. The transformation is hard to believe. The oil based original finish had turned the wood an orange tinge, and our dogs had gouged areas of the floor by the doors. We had 10 years of buildup on our manufactured hardwoods that we did not know how to remove and they were able to give us wise ways to remove the waxy buildup and avoid it happening again, we couldn't recommend Footprints more and we intend to use them when and if we refinish them. Meet the Footprints Floors Hickory / Gastonia Owner
Ini grew up in Gastonia and is the owner of Footprints Floors servicing the cities of Hickory, Gastonia, and surrounding areas in North Carolina, and Greenville and surrounding areas in South Carolina.
Ini and his wife, Taleka, were high school sweethearts and both attended Western Carolina University. While at WCU, Ini studied finance and accounting for undergrad and later obtained an MBA from his alma mater. After college, Ini and Taleka settled in Asheville where Ini started his career as an Accountant for a local company in the hospitality industry. Over the course of nine years, Ini honed his skills in leadership, business management, process improvement, and customer service through his various roles including sales and marketing accountant and accounting manager.
In 2018, Ini, Taleka, and their daughter made their way back home by relocating to Gastonia where Taleka embarked on her second career as a nurse and the family welcomed their newest member in 2019.
Ini has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a love for solving problems and believes Footprints Floors offers him the opportunity to satisfy both.

Meet Bryan Park: Owner & Founder
Bryan grew up in south Denver. He attended the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO and served this country after graduation. Like most who serve, Bryan's military experience strengthened his belief in, and commitment to, integrity, duty and leadership.
When Bryan and wife Kelli settled in Littleton, Colorado they started a family, three rambunctious girls and two very big dogs. It was then, Bryan noticed that the flooring industry in Denver was highly inefficient and unscrupulous. It was nearly impossible to find providers who worked with a true sense of honesty and fairness. Changing this was not only an opportunity for Bryan, it was practically a calling.
"Putting the customer first and creating an impeccable reputation in this industry was job number one," says Bryan, about his goals for his future flooring company in Denver. He named it Footprints Floors, and created a unique company structure that promoted the best in people, products and business practices. It worked! So much so, that Footprints Floors is one of the largest hardwood providers in Colorado and is growing rapidly.
