My husband and I had Footprints Floors Hickory/Gastonia to put hardwood floors down in our entire house. We were a bit nervous at first because we thought that having to move furniture and rip up carpet was going to be too big of a job for anyone. The owner and his crew were amazingly professional! Their work was outstanding and we have no complaints. We would highly recommend this company for ANY flooring needs that you may have.

They workman who came for job arrived on time and completed job in timely manner. They were not proficient in English and that is my only language. With phone translators of theirs and mine we were able to communicate. They did exactly what was asked.

The install was great, I was very satisfied except for the dust, perhaps a vacuum would be better than a broom for the self leveling product.

I first want to start by saying look no further for a flooring contractor. We searched around for months to find a contractor to get our floor repaired and replaced before we found Footprints Gastonia. After multiple no shows and really ridiculous estimates, we came across Ini and his team. They were immediately responsive, Ini gave us a quote while he was here for the estimate and the price was hundreds less than other estimates. From working in construction for 18+ years I can tell you that you will not find another team in Belmont/Gastonia/Charlotte area like Footprints Gastonia. They went above and beyond all my extremely high expectations. They worked hard to get it completed in the time they had projected for the project and the results were absolutely exceptional. This review is not about our misadventures but Footprints Floor. I knew that flooring was something that I would contract out because you leave some projects to the pros... So enter Ini and Footprints Floors - Gastonia. Ini and his crew helped us with our master bathroom remodel. They removed the old "Saved By The Bell" vinyl flooring, removed and reinstalled the toilet, installed the tile of our choice, and finished the project with .25 quarter round. The result is incredible. Two thumbs way up! If you need a floor installed and you live in or around Gastonia, NC, I HIGHLY recommend Footprints Floors.

I needed help putting down LVP fast - we were behind on a move in date. They squeezed us in and got it finished!

Ini and his crew were great! Even though I hired them for tile work they were able to fix what my framers messed up when building the framing around my fireplace. Joe and Jose were able to get creative with installing the recessed trim around the double sided fireplace. Jose did top notch quality work and followed all of the house instructions as far as cleaning up the work sight after he was done, making sure the door was closed as he went in and out to cut tile, and him and his helpers kept their mask on the entire time. Jose also did a phenomenal job installing the pencil tile around the rain head and cutting 45’s in the corners so that the installation would look clean. He even hid the seams of the cuts with a white caulk so that the pieces would look continuous. Overall Ini and his team did an excellent job for an affordable and fair price. Definitely would recommend them and I’ll be using them again for my next major tile project!

I got a very nice new floor in my old house. There were repairs necessary to make the sub floor strong and Carlos did a wonderful job of it. He was busy the whole time and he checked for my approval along the way. Worth the cost and from what my friends say it was a great deal! Quick response (just under 2 weeks after the estimate), excellent workmanship, respectful of my space; I am definitely pleased with the company and the result.

The installers arrived on time. The owner of Footprints floors also stopped by to check on everything. They did a great job putting tiles up on our backsplash. They worked the entire time. One man put the tile up while another man helped. When they were finished they cleaned up.

We had Ini and his team come in to finish a project that another contractor vanished on about 1/3 of the way in. He arrived on time to provide a quote and was professional and caring to the needs of the client. His subcontractor Carlos exemplified the same qualities and they both worked with us to overcome many obstacles and complete the project within the short time frame we had. They both knew it is our first home and wanted to make sure our experience was positive, especially after the bad luck we were having with other contractors. The completed work was great. We used the same flooring as the previous owners to redo the bedrooms and in my opinion the installation is much higher quality than what the previous owners had done with the rest of the home. Ini and Carlos were honest, friendly and we will be recommending them to whoever we know needs flooring work done and calling them back for any of our future work!
