I first want to start by saying look no further for a flooring contractor. We searched around for months to find a contractor to get our floor repaired and replaced before we found Footprints Gastonia. After multiple no shows and really ridiculous estimates, we came across Ini and his team. They removed the old "Saved By The Bell" vinyl flooring, removed and reinstalled the toilet, installed the tile of our choice, and finished the project with .25 quarter round. Ini and his crew were great! Even though I hired them for tile work they were able to fix what my framers messed up when building the framing around my fireplace. Joe and Jose were able to get creative with installing the recessed trim around the double sided fireplace. Jose did top notch quality work and followed all of the house instructions as far as cleaning up the work sight after he was done, making sure the door was closed as he went in and out to cut tile, and him and his helpers kept their mask on the entire time. Jose also did a phenomenal job installing the pencil tile around the rain head and cutting 45’s in the corners so that the installation would look clean. He even hid the seams of the cuts with a white caulk so that the pieces would look continuous. Overall Ini and his team did an excellent job for an affordable and fair price. Definitely would recommend them and I’ll be using them again for my next major tile project!

We had Ini and his team come in to finish a project that another contractor vanished on about 1/3 of the way in. He arrived on time to provide a quote and was professional and caring to the needs of the client. His subcontractor Carlos exemplified the same qualities and they both worked with us to overcome many obstacles and complete the project within the short time frame we had. They both knew it is our first home and wanted to make sure our experience was positive, especially after the bad luck we were having with other contractors. The completed work was great. We used the same flooring as the previous owners to redo the bedrooms and in my opinion the installation is much higher quality than what the previous owners had done with the rest of the home. Ini and Carlos were honest, friendly and we will be recommending them to whoever we know needs flooring work done and calling them back for any of our future work!
