Dan owns the Footprints Floors Parker and Castle Rock franchise. Living in Sedalia, with his wife Joyce, Dan enjoys and values the unique beauty of the Parker and Castle Rock landscapes. Dan and Joyce raised their two sons in Sedalia and can't imagine living anywhere else.

While gathering estimates for a hardwood flooring project in his home, Dan met Bryan. His broad and solid business background provided good conversation for the two entrepreneurs. Over the following months, Dan and Bryan agreed that Dan would be a great fit for the Footprints Floors team.

Dan brings an incredible wealth of knowledge to Footprints Floors. He and his son, Conner, are continually refining their father and son partnership to provide the best option for hardwood floors in the Parker and Castle Rock areas. Each customer represents an opportunity to Dan and Conner to provide quality service and a quality product at a fair price. Last week we had our hickory floors refinished by Footprints Floors, Castle Rock. Dan the owner, was professional, fairly priced, and took the time to answer all of the questions we had. His crew, Genaro and Marvin were also professional, responsive and highly skilled. They taped and hung plastic as needed. The sawdust was kept to a minimum and when they left the area was clean. Our hickory floors had some water stains and had yellowed over time. Triple levels of sanding and triple coats of sealing turned our floors into a masterpiece. I highly recommend this company!

I'm writing to highly recommend Dan from Footprints Floors and his floor refinisher, Generro, for any floor refinishing needs. As a resident of Parker, I recently hired them to restore our hickory wood floors, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. After 17 years of family life, our floors had accumulated scars, water stains, and had turned an amber color, with some minor cupping due to improper care. It was definitely time for a restoration. While I anticipated some inconvenience, especially since the work covered our kitchen, dining area, entry, and family room, the process was surprisingly manageable. The dust was minimal, much less than I expected, although there was a fair amount of noise. Within six days, our home was almost back to normal. Our floors now look beautiful—even better than when they were first installed. Dan and Generro are truly professional and highly skilled.

We’ve lived with our old flooring for a little over ten years - little kids, pets, moving furniture around haphazardly, and a bit of water damage left the floors looking more than just a little distressed. The folks at Footprints floors gave us a free estimate and walk through and the refinishing was beautiful. I was tired of the super shiny, overly-warm (leaned Orange) flooring color. We switched to a more modern dark walnut with a satin finish and it’s everything I wanted. The guys came in and covered our rooms and cabinets with plastic sheeting and masked areas that were susceptible to dust. The entire main floor was sanded, buffed, and restrained in 3 days. Excellent work - highly recommended!

I had pet stained carpet replaced with red oak floors by Footprints. Beautifully done, they are simply magnificent. The job was challenging in that the stain needed to match existing hardwood in the kitchen. Connor, the project manager, went the extra mile to ensure the color was perfect. After decades of use and some damage from pets over the years, it was time to get rid of that yellowed stain on our white oak floors. Damn did a great job reviewing the work with us and we really liked that they let us see 4 different stain samples on our floor before zeroing in on the one we liked. If we went with our first pick from the brochure, we would have regretted it. This was a major step in the process that led to our happiness with the job, not to mention the equality of work was great!

We were worried that we might have to redo the entire main level. Dan assured my wife and I that they will be able to not only fix the damaged boards, but also be able to lace the stain in making it look like nothing happened. The first thing that they did was a moisture test and they communicated to us immediately that the damage is not too bad and that, while some boards needed to be replaced, the rest can just be sanded and then stained and coated to match the existing floor. Hearing this made us feel better, but, still, we were worried that this may no happen. We kept getting reassurances from Dan and his team that all will be okay and to just be patient. Well, here we are after a few days that the work started and we are amazed at the tremendous job Dan and his team did on our wood floors! It really doesn't look like anything happened!! Everyone has their own experiences, but I was able to text Dan and he responded promptly with my questions. He and his team really cared about our needs and wanted to make sure we were satisfied in every way. In fact, we just asked for an extra coat and Dan went out of his way to ensure that someone comes tomorrow morning to get this done!!! The owner, Dan, followed up every step of the way. The quote process was thorough. The price quote was the best we found, but it was not low for cutting corners. Dan managed expectations and brought in excellent crews for the various project phases. Our floors came out perfectly. This was a large project with over 1k SF to install, lace and finish/refinish. We showed the floors to a neighbor today and they were blown away. Projects like this will encounter an issue or two. Dan resolved those with expedience. Will hire again.
