This is the third time we have used Footprints floors for our remodeling needs. Dan is great with communication and setting expectations and making sure the job goes well from start to finish.

This is an installation company that is reliable, dependable, timely, and very likable and friendly.

Footprint Floors refinished existing hardwood floors in the foyer and the kitchen. They installed new hardwood floors in the great room and hallway. Footprint Floors also installed LVP in the hall bathroom and laundry room, installed a new stacked stone fireplace surround, and new tile fireplace hearth. Dan and his crew made the entire process easy from the estimate to the completion of the project. The few glitches encountered along the way were quickly corrected as Dan kept us informed during the process with texts and photos. The entire process of having new floors installed was seamless. Dan was on top of the delivery of wood. He explained the timing and was quick to respond to questions. We recently noticed a crack in our shower tile floor. I contacted Footprints to obtain an estimate of repair and advice. Jodi returned my message very quickly and set up a time to speak with Dan about the issue. Dan reviewed my photos of the problem and gave me options that were simple DIY fixes. He was friendly and personable. Although he didn’t make any money from this project, he will be my first call for any future needs. Very pleased with the response and advice.

Simply put, the entire experience with Footprints KC was exactly what I look for when hiring companies to work in my house. From the beginning they were on top of their game. We had several companies give us quotes to get our hardwoods refinished in our main floor living space. Dan, the owner, came out to do the quote himself and I had the quote in my inbox later that night. What set them apart from the others was he was the only one who called me the next to make sure I received the quote and if I had any questions. A simple gesture that you don't experience that much anymore. The job they quoted out for me was on the smaller side so I wasn't wasn't expecting that much communication but Dan, Leo and team were in constant contact with me throughout the entire process. Providing me updates, next steps and tips along the way. Again, it's the simple things. Besides the excellent customer service I received, the floors themselves look outstanding. We worked with Leo to find the perfect stain and he was patient with us when we didn't quote know what we wanted. Dan and his crew refinished my 75 year old hardwood floors. I was out of town when they did the work. When I returned, the floors were perfect. Not a single complaint. Everything was cleaned up, no dust, no marks on the quarter round on the floor. Everything was great.

From the beginning to the end 100% would recommend this company to all! We did a restrain for dark wood and I wanted as light as I could go. I needed to set my quote up for specific dates and Dan was very helpful and quick to fit me in. During the bid he had great sample and examples and told me exactly what I needed to know and the real facts that maybe would be something you would have to find out. Easily picked them after a few bids. During he was available and his staff on-site were amazing, clean, quick and professional. They did an incredible job and exceeded what I thought for the house. Dan was very professional and willing to work with me to complete the project with the highest quality and within my budget, even when the project scope changed to having to tear out a concrete entryway and rebuild the flooring underneath. Given that this was a big project (replaced tile and carpet with LVP over 1500 square feet over my entire first floor - including some tricky areas), the fact that we had no problems and every square inch was done right, that is saying a lot. We used Footprints Flooring for our sunroom floors and I would highly recommend them. They installed Schluter cable with tile for our heated floors and we are so happy with the result. The crew was friendly, professional and reliable. We had several quotes for the floor and Dan with Footprints was the only one to notice that our subfloor wasn’t thick enough to support the tile we selected. He found an affordable solution that kept us on our original timeline.

Dan and Luis were great to work with. Dan was gracious, cheerful, transparent and accessible. At every step in the process he explained what to expect, answered questions, and helped us get a beautiful installation. When we unexpectedly uncovered mold in our floor and had to delay installation 2 days, they were helpful in thinking through options and worked with our schedule to get the job done in a timely manner. Luis’s tiling work was excellent and he was always courteous and professional.

Working with the owner, Dan, was a breeze. Very communicative and friendly throughout the process. Our backsplash demo and installer was Luis and he was great as well. He arrived on time, worked hard, and paid attention to detail. The finished product looks great. We did run into some issues (due to house structure not Footprints) and they stayed in close communication while they were resolved and then immediately got back to work on the tile. We’re hoping to do upstairs floors next year and will be calling them back for sure.
