Brett Miller is the Vice President of Technical Standards, Training, and Certification at the National Wood Flooring Association where he is responsible for the development, coordination, implementation and presentation of the NWFA’s technical publications and Guidelines, training schools, workshops, on-line training, as well as the NWFA’s certification programs. Miller is also the Technical Editor for Hardwood Floors Magazine where he is responsible for writing and editing all technical content for the organization. Miller has been in the hardwood flooring industry since 1991, where his passion began as an installer and finisher of wood floors in Colorado, then progressed to being a successful business owner, wood floor inspector, commercial and residential project manager, regional manager for a large finish manufacturer, technical standards writer, and as an instructor.

Dave has been in the wood flooring industry for 38 years. His career began in 1986 as a sander and installer. He started with The Floor Junction in Pleasanton, California. In 1997, he started his own company, Northern California Flooring Company. In mid-year 2018, he began his career with DuraSeal as a Contractor Specialist and he now serves as an Accounts Manager/Sales Representative.
