This just might be the Footprints floor of the year. This 1796 home had some of the most unique floors we've had the pleasure of refinishing. 1. Multi width white oak with walnut plugs - stained in Duraseal Gunstock. 2. Ambrosia Maple - Ambrosia Maple is Soft Maple with a cream colored background which is host to a variety of greyish-blue to brown streaks that are caused by an infestation of the ambrosia beetle. The beetle burrows into the tree and leaves a fungus in it’s path, which is what creates the unique discoloration. Stained in Duraseal Gunstock. 3. 18" wide plank Eastern European Pine - Natural finish with Bona Amberseal. 4. New growth Southern Yellow Pine - stained in Duraseal Gunstock.
