I contacted Footprints Floors after a botched installation AND reinstallation of our bathroom floors through a big box store. We had lived without toilets and half finished floors for two months at this point and the quotes I was getting from other companies were astronomical and they were booked out for months (a lot of companies wouldn't even call me back or provide a quote after they heard how small the job was). I was contacted promptly after requesting a quote online and Mike came out to measure our bathrooms within the week. The quote was very reasonable and he was able to get me scheduled for installation in TWO WEEKS!! Scott (the owner) and his team were able to get the old tile and vanities out, LVP installed, and molding/quarter round installed in both bathrooms in roughly six hours (and even arrived early because I had to get my daughter to an appointment that morning). I am so thankful and in love with my floors and can't wait to have them come back to do our kitchen floors! Update: We had Footprints Floors return in March 2022 and replace the carpet on the landing and two bedrooms with the same LVP. Again, a seamless process and we love our floors! There's supposed to be a fee for any furniture you leave in the room that they have to move around, but they were gracious enough to not charge us for my daughter's crib and a large cabinet that we couldn't get out of her room. These guys did an amazing job refinishing our floors. I originally called to get a hole repaired in the floor where DISH drilled in the wrong place, and after calling every hardwood floor company in town, these guys were the only ones that responded, did a perfect job with the hole, so we decided to have them refinish the floors and never called another sole

Footprints Floors did an excellent job on my flooring project. Footprints installed engineered hardwood flooring for me. Before doing so, Footprints had to remove some old carpet, vinyl, and wood flooring. Footprints did an amazing job removing the old flooring and preparing the subfloor for the new wood. This was a critical step because a flawed subfloor can wreck a flooring installation. I was impressed by the speed and attention to detail the installers showed. Scott told me my flooring replacement project would take a day and the installers delivered. Speaking of Scott, I have rarely worked with a company owner who is more responsive. When Scott looked at my job, he gave me some excellent advice on product selection. Overall, this flooring project was a great experience.

Footprints Floors removed the old wall to wall carpet from our three upstairs bedrooms and installed LVP flooring. It is so beautiful and feels good underfoot. The team did an excellent job of working the flooring around the radiator pipes, as I knew that wouldn't be easy. They cleaned up thoroughly when they were finished. Scott the owner checked in with the crew several times throughout the day. The team worked hard and only took a break for lunch. I highly recommend this company.

I had a great experience with Footprints Floors. Their employees are hard working and nice. The owner of the business even worked with me when the installation had to be delayed to treat termites. I will definitely use them again for my flooring needs.

Footprints floors refinished our hardwood floors and installed new shoe molding. Scott, our sales rep, gave me good advice at the beginning of the project on the scope of work and color of stain. Alejandro and crew finished the job quickly and did high quality work. After we did some DIY painting inside, it feels like we are living in a new house. Would recommend!

Scott and his team did an overall excellent job at making sure that my wife and I received a new hardwood floor and tile finish that we were happy with. Along the way, we had a few bumps, but I think in this line of business, you’ll find that anywhere and at anytime. Scott quoted the job pretty perfectly and always informed us of change orders when needed. When additional attention was needed on certain areas, Scott and his team came back right away to address the areas. Thank you for such great floors and a good overall experience.

We purchased a house "as-is" from a bank as a foreclosure that included improperly installed laminate all throughout the first floor. It was so bad that there were multiple "bubbles" that rose up six to eight inches off of the subfloor and, as it was a severe tripping hazard, needed to be replaced immediately. We contacted Footprints and Scott came out quickly to look at the damage and give us an estimate. We were happy with the cost and Scott's professionalism and got on his calendar. The install was done quickly and we were impressed with both the project manager Jose and his workers. They leveled the floor, which had not been done by the prior contractors, and now we have beautiful LVP that is no longer a safety issue. Thanks Scott!

So glad we contracted Footprints for our laminate wood flooring installation. The owner, Scott, was professional and thorough even though our job was small. The crew arrived as scheduled and did a wonderful job. They even fixed a terrible squeak in our subfloor (that we’d lived with for years) before the installation. Their price was reasonable as well. We will definitely hire this company again for any flooring project in the future.

I had a squeaky floor from incorrectly installed subflooring. No other floor company would even attempt a fix. Scott found a wonderful contractor that came up with a solution that worked. I am now proceeding with additional repairs. I highly recommend Footprints Floors!

When my old gas stove was removed there were no floor tiles behind or under it. The guys who had laid the tile floor and worked around the stove. I called around and no one was interested in the small job. Luckily I found Footsteps Floors and the receptionist responded quickly, friendly and soon the owner showed up to assess the job, and later sent a man who did a beautiful job on the floor and wall. Thanks to them I was able to install the new stove without much delay. Thanks Scot!

We hired the team to do a full shower install and tile floors in our master bath. They were responsive and very professional, asking my opinion during the whole install to make sure it was exactly as I preferred. I would definitely recommend them and use them again. I had received several estimates from other companies and he was the only one who came to my home, walked me through the process and gave me a quote on site with honest pricing - showing me everything I needed and the cost. Worked directly with the team members Jose and Silvan to install bamboo flooring on the first floor of our ~1500 square foot home and they knocked it out in 1 day. We were extending the same flooring that had previously been installed elsewhere, and Jose took the extra time to determine that if we would have laid the flooring in the same direction as the previous owner it would have voided the warranty. Super thankful for the extra care taken and the experience that Jose, Silvan, and his team took to do the job right the first time.

Footprints Floors installed ceramic tile in our kitchen and vinyl tile on the landing in our garage and in our pantry. They did a wonderful job! Scott was very responsive when we contacted footprint. He was very professional when assessing the project. Footprint flooring demoed our existing ceramic tile, installed and grouted new tile, and carpeted our stairs all within one week! Scott also fabricated a threshold from our hardwood floor. After having several unpleasant experiences, I cannot recommend foot print any higher.

The owner was great, very professional and knowledgeable.Gabriel arrive removed the old tile and replaced the new tile In two days. The work was remarkable. Quality work at a reasonable price. Gabriel completed in two days what another contractor I use took three months to complete. Highly recommend.

Install was great, and the price was about what I wanted to spend, BECAUSE they actually quoted it accurately! Who knew right? I got quotes from 3 places, and while the price per square foot was comparable for all of them (to do tile on a kitchen floor), each place gave me a much different quote of HOW MANY square feet it was…. Mike @ Footprints was careful and accurate, so I was only charged for work that was done, not a ballpark overestimation. I’ll be back when it’s time for a backsplash!

We recently hired Footprints Floors to remove old carpet in three bedrooms and refinish the hardwood floors underneath. I received a phone call from Joel almost immediately after putting in my request for information. He was extremely courteous and friendly, and quickly set up a time for Scott to come to our house to provide a free estimate. When Scott visited, he thoroughly answered all of our questions and wrote out a detailed estimate on the spot. He also showed a lot of patience and consideration with us during the scheduling process (and our last-minute decision to switch to water-based products). Scott arrived promptly with his crew the first day of the project and explained how everything was going to go. He left us in good hands with Hector and the other gentleman (unfortunately I didn't catch his name). They were both extremely friendly and polite, very hard-working, and meticulous in completing the job (and cleaning up after). Scott checked in on the project throughout. In the end, we're very happy with both the professionalism of everyone involved, and the end result. We highly recommend Footprints Floors.

Extremely satisfied with the wood floor refinishing work by Scott and his team. We had a very tight deadline to get the floors done before moving in and Footprints did not disappoint. Even when we could not decide on the stain color, Scott was patient and helpful. Our “new” floors are beautiful!

I had the pleasure of working with Footprint Floors to refinish the hardwood floors in the renovation of my parent’s home. Scott, the owner is one of the kindest, most helpful contractors I have ever worked with. He returned my call promptly and met for an estimate. He worked with me and gave me options so that I could get what I needed at a reasonable price. The job was done within the next week and WOW! The floors were not in good shape before, but they are beautiful now. It was customer service at its finest, with a top quality job. I would highly recommend them.

Scott is a great guy, a real gentleman, and really knows his business. He listened to what we wanted, made recommendations, and got a proposal to us in a few days. He was even able to give us an appointment for the work to be done. He explained different flooring options. We went with luxury vinyl planking which we have on the first floor. We chose Smartcore waterproof plank and bought 52 boxes using Scott's estimate. We only have 4 boxes left and because we bought at Lowe's we can return any of them for full refund. Scott even ran out on the day of the install to get some T-molding so the job could be completed. He was able to start the job a day early, sent two crews, so our floor was done in one day. The job is exceptional. Scott came several times to check on job and make sure things were going smoothly. His crews were professional, courteous, and made sure site was completely clean before leaving. They rotated lunch break so there was always work being done. They laid down tarp from front door, upstairs and after pulling up carpet, disposed of it right away. We have three bedrooms and some closets and every room was perfect, no gaps by walls, no uneven patterns, just so professional. We just moved to Richmond and had no clue about what businesses to use. I did research and went out for three bids. Scott's was not the least expensive, but now that the job is done I realize we got really high end work for a very reasonable price. My husband and I highly recommend Scott and Footprints Flooring.
