We have a sunroom with a concrete floor and wanted to enhance the look of the room and decided to tile the floor. We selected a tile from Floor & Decor and I requested quotes from 3 installation companies and none of them were as professional as Footprints. Footprints floors Did an excellent job very fast?

Footprint Floors installed LVP tile flooring in our remodeled laundry room. It required the removal of a portion of the subfloor and laying new underlayment boards prior to installing the LVP. We are very happy with the results and highly recommend them as flooring installers!

They were fast, efficient, reasonably priced and did a great job. Having worked with MANY contractors, the bar is on the floor, but this flooring company treated it like it was on the roof. Very pleased.

The footprints team was ON POINT. I needed to make some quick updates to my kitchen. I contacted Footprints to install a new backsplash in the kitchen behind the sink, behind the stove, and under the butler's cabinet. Darrien and the team were responsive, fast to complete a walk-through, provided an estimate (that matched the final price to the penny), scheduled the job, and completed it within two weeks. The tile to be installed was all individual pieces, 2x2, quite complex, and needed special handling, it didn't phase the team at all, they knew exactly what to do. I'd use Footprints again, please take a look at the photos.

Brandon was very helpful during the planning process and gave us quotes on two different options without pressuring us in either direction. The project manager, Darrin, was friendly, responsive, and professional, and he dealt with a couple of after-install issues promptly and satisfactorily. We were very happy with Footprints Floors Charlotte. We had water damage and had to replace all the floors on our main level. Brandon from Footprints came and gave us an estimate. We agreed and scheduled the work. Darrin was our POC from that point on, and he was very communicative. He texted us the day before the crew was to arrive, and again that morning. Darrin and the crew arrived on time and immediately got to work. After less than an hour Darrin called for me. They had found structural damage beneath our subfloor and recommended we hold off on installing the floors, and have a construction company come out and take a look. He said they could continue to install the floors but it would likely cause us further issues down the road. I agreed with his recommendation. They even recommended a construction company to come out. Wolfe Construction did come out and they entered our crawl space and confirmed everything Footprints had said. Dee from Wolfe Construction said she’d like to shake their hand because so many companies would have just laid the floors anyway, and it would have come back to haunt us. Wolfe was booked 6 weeks out, so we had to put the floor installation on hold. We explained to Darrin and Brandon with footprints and they were completely understanding and accommodating. They came back two days after the construction work was completed, and then scheduled us for the following week to install the floors. Much to our delight, after such a lengthy process getting there, they knocked it out in one day and the floors look terrific! We are incredibly happy with the way they look, plus we can now sleep a little sounder knowing that the structural issues we were previously unaware of have now been addressed, and the house is all the safer for it. (We have a 4 year old and a 2 year old). We are also confident that the new floors will last for years, and have added value to the house. Plus, before all of this, our floors were very uneven (the house was built in 1973, so we just chalked it up to “it is what it is”). Now, after the structural work, plus some sanding and leveling Footprints did on the subfloors, our floor is far more level and even than it was. It was a long process (not Footprints fault) and we came out all the better on the other side. The thing that impressed me most is Footprints flexibility and willingness to take the longer, harder, but more secure path, as opposed to just laying the floors originally and being done with it. We are glad we came across them while searching for an installation company. After the floor installation was complete, Darrin came back out the next day and reviewed all the work. He spot checked and fine tuned a couple of things that needed it. We enjoyed a cup of coffee as he did so, and enjoyed talking to him and appreciated the due diligence he showed in making sure everything was as perfect as it could be. By the time he left, we were 100% satisfied with the work Footprints did. Everyone we dealt with from Footprints, from the owner to the crew, and in particular Darrin, who communicated with us throughout the whole process, were professional, kind, knowledgeable, honest people who were clearly experts in their field. I felt completely comfortable letting them in my home and would highly recommend them to anyone with any issues with their floor.

We had a repair job for our LVP flooring in our house, which is only 2.5 years old. Brandon came right out and gave a fair quote. We scheduled the work and we’re impressed with how quickly they completed the job. We had bad LVP installed only 2 years ago and we’re expecting a stressful experience when we decided to use Footprints to do our on site hardwood install. From day 1, the team was responsive, accurate, fast, approachable and kind. The estimates were fast and accurate, and there was no nickel and diming for unnecessary things. The entire process from demo, to installation, to the sanding and refinishing on site were seamless and stress free. I have never smiled in the middle of a home Reno project before, but this one I smiled every day! We had our entire upstairs done in LVP last year and absolutely love it. Footprints did a stellar job and since we picked up all the supplies and did the demo upstairs we got a smoking deal. This week we finally did the whole down stairs in Honeysuckle Oak Pergo Outlast, of course we called Brandon and his crew. They did Demo and full install with quarter round in ONE DAY!!! Again..amazing price and complete perfection. This flooring looks so good, totally changed the look of our house. Brandon and his team were amazing. They were able to level the uneven concrete floors in my 1947 slab foundation home (1200 sq ft) and install my LVP flooring all in one day! The floors are gorgeous and Brandon was quick to repsond to any questions by text.

Footprint Floors performed an excellent job on a small patch of flooring. Brandon (owner) walked me through their process and how provided a timeline for the projetc. We had to reschedule a few times due to conflicts on my end. Brandon was hughly flexiblle and worked within my time frames. Best of all, the team arrived and the finished the job much soonber than I anticipated. My husband and I work out of the home and floor installation can be noisy if conference calls are being conducted. Thankfully, the team worked in an efficient manner and never disturbed us during or work. Thank you, Brandon!

My husband and I purchased our house about 4 years ago under the impression that a contractor was hired prior to purchase to make improvements to the house. Well, a contractor was hired- but they took every shortcut possible. Including the flooring, that became more apparent over time. Our house previously had over 14 cats, dogs, birds and 2 horses all in 1700 square feet, leaving a lot of questionability of the flooring and pet stains. In addition to dark floors with stain that was essentially painted on and turning blotchy due to incorrect application, my husband and I applied reclaimed flooring throughout the rest of the downstairs to match the thin-board style. The flooring that was used was in good shape, but was not refined and had a completely different stain. After having some general contractor PTSD for the flooring, mixed-matched floors, and questionable pet stains- we knew we wanted to go with a flooring specialist. We chose Footprints Floors because they were straight to business, professional, no games or gimmicks, no fancy presentations. Brandon was upfront from the beginning- prepare for the worst, expect the best. Throughout the project, Brandon and his team were extremely flexible with our flooring project. We initially wanted light oak Floors with a water finish top coat, if there weren't many pet stains. Well- after the team got done sanding the flooring, surprisingly there wasn't many pet stains- just a giant water stain (3 ft x 5 ft). Brandon gave us different cost effective options, rather than ripping up the entire floor- to either feather new flooring where the water stain was at an additional amount (estimated at $1500 more), or to go in a different direction with the floors to make them look better than ever with a properly applied dark stain to stay on budget. We chose to stay as close to budget as possible, as we realized the light colored floors didn't really look good after all. Brandon and his team gave us 7 great options that could cover the stains, and pivoted quickly once we made a decision on a stain color and switching out to an oil based finish, along with replacing the stair treads (those were cheaped out by the builder of the house). We are extremely satisfied with the end product! It may not have been what we thought we wanted, but that's life- you get rid of the bad and once you have a blank slate, you can make the best decisions that work for you, your family, and your budget. When refinishing floors- you really don't know what you're going to get, especially with a history like ours. Overall- choosing Footprints Floors was the best decision for flooring specialists that are caring, involved, and flexible. Out of the 3 quotes we got, they were in the middle for estimated costs and were competitive for the services they offered. The team got the flooring project done in less than a week! Our floors have a while new life that they don't have before and have completely transformed our space!

We had a great experience with Brandon as our project manager. Our old floors were outdated and needed refinishing. We also wanted to add hardwood to areas with old carpeting. Footprint Floors did it all! Took about a week to complete the project and it turned out just how we wanted. We were sent pictures as the project progressed as well as were given options to view for the new floor color. Would recommend for anyone looking for hardwood install or refinishing!

I had pre finished hardwoods installed where there used to be carpet in our Master Bedroom. This was the most professional company of the 3 estimates I received. The contract was very specific about what work would be completed. On the day of installation, they were about 30-45 minutes late but that was ok because I had more time to clear things out for them. They started immediately, worked non stop, and were finished in 6 hours. They cleaned up behind themselves and the floors are beat and well installed!!! Very clean, nice work. I would definitely use them again!!!

This company is doing a great job, they have professional installers, responsibility in their duties, now my floor looks nice like a new floor, thanks guys for all you do.

This was an awesome experience! They showed up a little late on the day of installation but it wasn’t a big deal. It gave me more time to move out the furniture. The quality is amazing, it only took 6 hours, and there is no mess! They were a little more expensive than the other two quotes I got but I knew ahead of time exactly what the scope of work would be, which isn’t always the case with some other flooring installation providers. Highly recommend!!!!

They were great to work with and did a good job

If I had known that the replacement of our carpet with new luxury vinyl flooring was going to be so easy - I would have done it years ago. Footprints Floors was very responsive and called us before we could call them even though they were working around our crazy schedule. They completed our entire downstairs (1800 sq feet) in less than two days! The best part was that we didn't have to move any of the heavy furniture. And their installation quote was thousands of dollars less than all the others! Do yourself a favor - go to Floor & Decor, pick out your flooring, and call Footprints Floors. Or save yourself some shopping time and just call Footprints Floors as they have the same great selection!

Their staff were very skilled and capable. They followed though on everything they said they would do. Excellent communication when changes occurred. They were trustworthy.

I waited a few days after installation to write my review to ensure no issues came up. It’s been almost a week and we LOVE our new floors! They clean so well, look great, and bring the whole space together. Footprints Floors responded to my request for a quote very quickly. We were able to get a quote and begin installation within two weeks. FF’s prices were comparable to other flooring companies and they offered a small discount for next day scheduling. Our contact person, Brandon, kept in contact and answered all my questions (and I had quite a few!). He also explained everything well and didn’t try to speak over my head in that way some salespeople do. Our project manager, Haigh, walked me through the whole process before the crew started, then explained everything they did at the end. He was super professional and kind, explaining some of the issues they had run to to and how they had resolved them. The entire project only took one day (small ranch-style home) and my home was clean when I came back. I’m very appreciative of how we were treated and the job was very well done. 10/10 would recommend!
