Beginning in 1996, the Treasure House became a home for single moms, and Teen House, a home for girls living on the streets. The Footprints First Fruits Fund was honored to be part of their renovation project of Treasure house, and loved bringing new life and beauty to a home where so much good has been done to bless and improve the lives of our local community.
About our Partnership
Homelessness and substance abuse are on the rise in our country, and as a result, people are suffering and families are falling apart. Open Door Ministries has a long history of working in inner city Denver with hurting people and has had an incredible impact in seeing lives turned around.
First Fruits was looking for an organization that was doing this work in our own backyard, and is excited about partnering with ODM. Not only can we provide financial sponsorship to single mothers going through their year long residential program, but we can also provide practical help in refinishing their floors in some of their older homes. We have also sent volunteers to help paint and remodel one of their houses that serves single moms and their kids.
Open Door Ministries seeks to impact the City of Denver by providing:
Housing Support
