Fantastic service! Attentive. Responsive. Positive attitude. Excellent installers. I have ZERO negative feedback on Aaron, and his exceptional installer, Santos. So far, they have completed the LVTiles in our main living area and our staircase. I threw them for a loop with my choice of riser material and nosing- and they stepped up to the challenge and exceeded our expectations. I never heard a single negative thought expressed, which seems to be rare in this industry! The staircase was completed yesterday and TODAY it withstood a huge test. The appliances were delivered. There were hand trucks and massive delivery guys going up and down the unprotected staircase. You would never know they were there. I will include a photo. As soon as the ceiling is textured and painted, I will add photos of the flooring. I cannot thank you enough, Aaron!

As a retired general building contractor and construction manager having overseen multimillion dollar residential and commercial projects (and very attention to detail oriented!), I have worked with multiple tile companies over my 30-year career. We chose J.R. with Footprints Floors over the other five installers we interviewed and we’re glad we did. I just bought a new home and decided the kitchen and 2 baths needed new flooring. Met with Matt first for the estimate. He showed up on time and got the estimate over to me quickly. Matt was professional and very customer focused. During the quoting phase he identified several key areas that needed additional work that the 2 yr previous flooring company neglected to do including the use of moisture barriers and floor leveling on a concrete slab. Both contributed, in part, to the need to, yet again, replace our floors as a result of an outside leak. The Footprints Flooring work was done efficiently, on time, and on budget. He was thorough, transparent, and communicative from the very first visit. He took his time walking through our home, assessing our floors, and explaining everything in detail, including a clear timeline that he actually stuck to. What stood out most was his honesty. I was torn between 5-inch solid wood planks and the 4¼-inch option. The wider plank would have cost more, and Tim easily could have pushed me toward it. Instead, he talked me out of the pricier choice because it simply wasn't necessary for our needs. That kind of integrity is rare in any industry, let alone home contracting. We ended up replacing all of our hardwood floors with beautiful new white oak, and the craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. We will never use anyone else for flooring. We just had Footprints complete a project at our home in downtown Chicago and we could not be more pleased! They were professional, patient and very detail-oriented. For context, they refinished bamboo floors on 2 levels and then demoed and installed tile on about 1500 sq ft of the main level. We had just purchased the home and it was empty when they did this - we handed them the keys after closing and they handled everything from there! We were specifically impressed by: 1) Communication. Kyle was great to work with because he communicated very well about the schedule, installation options and estimate. I always knew what was going on and their responses to my MANY questions were always handled quickly (even when it was smaller things like which shade of beige would he recommend :D ) 2) Reliability. When Kyle or Hugo gave a time of arrival, they were there without fail. And even though I was nervous about handing over my house keys to strangers, that was never a problem. They definitely were not strangers by the end of the project - they were great! 3) Quality work. My project included a lot of difficult corners and hand sanding around custom insets. And wow, the results are amazing. Everything is straight, level and uniform. Hugo’s skills are unmatched! If you are considering new flooring or refinishing your hardwoods, do yourself a favor and call Footprints Floors Chicago! They are absolutely wonderful!

We are over the moon happy with Dan and his crew from Castlerock! We live in Blackforest so it was a bit of a drive for them everyday. That was not an issue with this crew. Dan gave us a great quote the same day he came to give estimate, he took great care of us! Aldo, one of his crew was our favorite. Aldo is a hard working man!!! He came everyday and worked several hard hours not finishing till he got it right! Our floors apparently had some water damage and required a lot of sanding!! But that look so good now, that all of our friends and family cannot believe they are the same floors!! Also spent 3 days in our baseboards. They look better now than when they were originally installed! I am amazed as the professional work and they cared for our floors like they were their own. We are so happy with them. We had some water get in under our flooring and Scott came out to give us a free repair estimate. He let us know that the type of flooring we have is actually designed to breathe so the little bit of water that got under would evaporate quickly. No need to worry about mold and no need to tear the floors up and redo them. Appreciated his honesty and the fact he wasn’t trying to pressure us into paying for unnecessary work.

Todd was quick to respond and continually met deadlines during the bid, planning, project, and post project. He and his crew were respectful and kept the house remarkably clean considering the demo and floor refinishing that occurred. There were a few additions that needed to be made during construction due to the condition of the subfloor but Todd handled them quickly with resolutions we all agreed upon. The old hardwood that was buried under LVP and carpet for years now looks essentially brand new and indistinguishable from the new wood that was added to one room to make the whole house cohesive. We had multiple quotes and are extremely happy we went with Footprints. The service, price, and finished product were all exceptional.

We recently hired Footprints Flooring to level our basement floors, and they did a fantastic job. I initially considered making this a DIY project, but after researching the complexities of leveling a slab, I decided to hire professionals to ensure it was done right. It was absolutely the right call. Having been burned by dishonest contractors in the past who cut corners and demanded more money, working with Joe was a breath of fresh air. He was completely upfront about everything. In fact, because they ended up using less material than anticipated, Joe actually deducted the difference from our final bill, bringing it in under the original bid. He is a true professional who does top-notch work for a reasonable price. I highly recommend them!

He patiently helped me resolve problems like a superstar. The labor crew that put in my floors were very good at their work, kind, and obliging. Although, I wish they were more communicative when they ran into a problem. When issues arose they proceeded to deal with them their way instead of asking me how I wanted them dealt with, effecting major aesthetics. Once I realized the problems, they were still kind and easy to work with, and resolved the issues the way I wanted. But it cost unnecessary time, resources, and stress. All in all, I would absolutely hire FootPrints again. I highly recommend them.

We had Alan and crew completely retile our 3 bathrooms (floors, showers, bath surround) plus backsplash in kitchen and they did an outstanding job. When our shower glass vendor came to measure he said upfront that shower wall tile is never straight so they have a little wiggle room in the glass to compensate but after measuring our 3 showers he indicated that Footprints did an excellent job on the tile.

Kyle and his team did a fantastic job with our floor after we experienced flooding. We had them replace our flooring, cut up drywall, and install trim around the door frames. Additionally, they did install the drywall. When it comes to pricing, everything was competitive. When it comes to quality, we are finding absolutely no complaints. Additionally, the team was receptive to new things that happened during the process, such as an additional water leak found in the foundation retrieving and removing our old vanity. Hopefully we don't have to hire again, but if we did we would go with footprints again.
