We hired Footprint Floors to remove the carpet on our second floor and stairs, and to install flooring to match what we already had on our main floor. They were prompt in communication with us, and helpful in guiding us to get the correct materials and identify solutions for components to the project we hadn’t considered. When install day arrived the team was efficient, minimally disruptive, and over all did a great job. They were able to work around a few pieces of furniture we were not able to move from the main floor - relieving significant stress on our end. When the stairs ended up not matching perfectly they went above and beyond to find a solution. We absolutely love the final product!

Hayden and his crew were great to work with. They installed laminate flooring on steps and in bedroom replacing very old carpet. It took just a couple of days to remove all of the carpet and install new flooring. Everyone said steps are tricky to do but they did it and the minor issues that came up they presented alternatives and overcame the issues. It was all done for exactly what was quoted also.

Footprints Floors Minneapolis gave us very prompt service for both quoting and installation. Time from RFQ to onsite estimate/measuring was less than a week and after we accepted the quote they were able to schedule install the next week. The crew came out and installed 600 sqft of flooring in a day! I would definitely recommend these guys for any of your flooring needs.

Many thanks to Hayden, Walter and team for their customer oriented persistence in getting this project finished. Oak flooring was interlaced. Sanding came out smooth and right up to the quarter round. There was minimal dust. It took an extra coat to get the water based finish smooth, but Hayden was there to fully back up our project and his installation.

We hired Footprints Floors for a laminate flooring repair. I was worried because the damage was in the middle of the floor - a significant amount of planking had to be removed to access the damaged ones. The crew was professional, courteous, and they cleaned up afterwards. They knew what they were doing and did an awesome job - our floor looks like new!

On time and professional floor refinishing, beautiful work! Estimate was reflective of work and there were no surprise cost. Carson told us up front that in his professional opinion a dark stain would be better than the clear. We replaced carpet with hardwood floors in our entire upstairs and refinished the existing floor on our main level. Gary and his team worked really hard and did a great job installing the oak hardwood flooring. We also had hardwood stairs installed to replace carpet. It was a major job and Gary was in communication with us throughout the entire project. As an added bonus Gary helped fix our doors that did not close properly. Overall Gary did a great job and I would definitely recommend his company and team to anyone interested in having hardwood floors installed into their home. Hayden and his team installed LVF throughout the main level of my home. Hayden was knowledgeable and attentive throughout the entire process. They were professional, very kind, worked fast, and did a great job. They are very customer service oriented; it was great to work with them and I am happy with the finished result!

Working with Hayden at Footprints Floors was absolutely great at every step of the process. From his excellent communication and responsiveness to his ability to get the job done fast and best of all a quality looking finish for the 800 sq ft of new subfloor and prefinished oak floors we had put down on our second level, Hayden and his crew(s) were exactly what we had hoped for on a home renovation project that had gone completely sideways in so many other respects. Thus far, whenever I walk around on the new floors for our new bedrooms and hallway I'm truly thankful I called this company and for the great work they did. As far as price, they weren't the cheapest but not the most expensive either. While we had another quote come in for significantly less, two others were significantly higher. However, the quote that was less didn't come with half the service, communication, and flexibility that Footprints was able to deliver on, which was really important on our project in particular. Not only that but because of their quick turn around to get the work scheduled and completed (around the holidays even), we were able to move back into our home that much sooner and more comfortably. We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Footprints Floors! We had a crisis in the DIY installation of vinyl plank flooring, when we discovered that the material we purchased was not going down as we anticipated. We called Footprint Floors and Hayden was so responsive, being able to come out the same day to take a look at it. He then was able to schedule his crew to come the same day! We were under great pressures because the carpet installation in the same space was to be in the next day or two. The crew from Footprints came out to try to lay the floor, and they too discovered it wouldn't work (it ended up being defective). This helped us know that we needed to return that product and find another, which we did. Then the crew came back so quickly and they were able to lay the floor. It is beautifully done and looks spectacular. I was so impressed with everyone at Footprints Floors, and would definitely have them top of my list of flooring professionals. Thank you!

Footprints Floors of Edina MN gave me the best competitive price out of three other contractors. Hayden answered all of the questions I had and gave me some great tips. One being I wasn’t sure how to move the upright piano without scratching the floors and he suggested Luan plywood , And sure enough the piano rolled across the floor without any scratches. Michael who single-handedly did all of the work to the floors and was very professional and courteous as he worked certain times throughout three days. These 1 1/2 inch red Oak floors from 1955 turned out amazing with A sealer and clear water based finish. We will certainly use footprints floors in the future and I highly recommend you give them A shot at a free estimate for you when you do your next flooring project.

We had Footprints Floors finish up flooring in our condominium recently. Despite having to blend with our older flooring installed three years prior, they were able to make the whole floor blend seamlessly. Additionally they were very professional, efficient and kind to work with. Since I have a daughter who is in a wheelchair and is very medically fragile, it can be difficult to have work done within our home. They were so quick and meticulous we were able to get the work done while she was out of the house for school and have minimal clean up before she returned. I would feel confident recommending them to anyone I know.
