We thought about having our floors refinished for quite some time but weren't sure who to go with. The floors were solid wood that had been stained and prefinished prior to installation. We were told that this is process would be tricky, time consuming and that possibly we wouldn't be pleased with the outcome.
Needless to say, we were concerned but went with Footprint Floors to get the job done. Carson and staff were very helpful in every way to ease our concerns. The floors turned out great and we couldn't be happier. It really was a refresh for our kitchen!

We had Hayden work on a floor replacement for one of our tenant units. It involved a lot of "de squeaking" of floors and an additional underlayment for soundproofing. He went above and beyond at every step - he was knowledgeable about the materials, straightforward with the approach, and fair in pricing. Even though it was a tenant unit they treated it like it was for the homeowner, which I appreciated a lot. The team worked quickly and there were no mistakes. They had warned us the threshold between the kitchen might give us some issues, and it has, but it is a nearly free and easy fix (5 min) and minor in grand scheme of things. I went on Angie's List and Houzz and interviewed a bunch of companies - Footprint was a clear winner from the getgo. Highly recommend.

We hired Footprint Floors to remove the carpet on our second floor and stairs, and to install flooring to match what we already had on our main floor. They were prompt in communication with us, and helpful in guiding us to get the correct materials and identify solutions for components to the project we hadn’t considered.
When install day arrived the team was efficient, minimally disruptive, and over all did a great job. They were able to work around a few pieces of furniture we were not able to move from the main floor - relieving significant stress on our end.
When the stairs ended up not matching perfectly they went above and beyond to find a solution. We absolutely love the final product!

Hayden and his crew were great to work with. They installed laminate flooring on steps and in bedroom replacing very old carpet. It took just a couple of days to remove all of the carpet and install new flooring. Everyone said steps are tricky to do but they did it and the minor issues that came up they presented alternatives and overcame the issues. It was all done for exactly what was quoted also.

Time from RFQ to onsite estimate/measuring was less than a week and after we accepted the quote they were able to schedule install the next week. Sanding came out smooth and right up to the quarter round. There was minimal dust. It took an extra coat to get the water based finish smooth, but Hayden was there to fully back up our project and his installation.

I was worried because the damage was in the middle of the floor - a significant amount of planking had to be removed to access the damaged ones. On time and professional floor refinishing, beautiful work! Estimate was reflective of work and there were no surprise cost. Carson told us up front that in his professional opinion a dark stain would be better than the clear.
We upgraded to a better stain instead of clear as recommended after the sanding was complete and reveled stains that were deep into the wood.
Footprints Floors admin team and crew were great. My client bumped into them at the property and was impressed with their level of professionalism and friendliness.

We replaced carpet with hardwood floors in our entire upstairs and refinished the existing floor on our main level. Gary and his team worked really hard and did a great job installing the oak hardwood flooring. We also had hardwood stairs installed to replace carpet. It was a major job and Gary was in communication with us throughout the entire project. As an added bonus Gary helped fix our doors that did not close properly. Overall Gary did a great job and I would definitely recommend his company and team to anyone interested in having hardwood floors installed into their home. Working with Hayden at Footprints Floors was absolutely great at every step of the process. From his excellent communication and responsiveness to his ability to get the job done fast and best of all a quality looking finish for the 800 sq ft of new subfloor and prefinished oak floors we had put down on our second level, Hayden and his crew(s) were exactly what we had hoped for on a home renovation project that had gone completely sideways in so many other respects. Thus far, whenever I walk around on the new floors for our new bedrooms and hallway I'm truly thankful I called this company and for the great work they did.
As far as price, they weren't the cheapest but not the most expensive either. While we had another quote come in for significantly less, two others were significantly higher. However, the quote that was less didn't come with half the service, communication, and flexibility that Footprints was able to deliver on, which was really important on our project in particular.
Not only that but because of their quick turn around to get the work scheduled and completed (around the holidays even), we were able to move back into our home that much sooner and more comfortably. Thanks Hayden and Footprints crew!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Footprints Floors!
We had a crisis in the DIY installation of vinyl plank flooring, when we discovered that the material we purchased was not going down as we anticipated.
We called Footprint Floors and Hayden was so responsive, being able to come out the same day to take a look at it. He then was able to schedule his crew to come the same day!
We were under great pressures because the carpet installation in the same space was to be in the next day or two.
The crew from Footprints came out to try to lay the floor, and they too discovered it wouldn't work (it ended up being defective). This helped us know that we needed to return that product and find another, which we did.
Then the crew came back so quickly and they were able to lay the floor. It is beautifully done and looks spectacular.
I was so impressed with everyone at Footprints Floors, and would definitely have them top of my list of flooring professionals.

The workmanship is excellent, timely, and moderately affordable. The workers are amiable and give much attention to detail. They also stayed to finish the job rather than leaving after 8 hrs. or so. Hayden the owner was kind and gracious and reassuring; kept us posted when materials came in and work could begin. Footprints Floors gave us a whole new place to live with high quality materials and work. Would do business with them again.

Hayden, Josh and Seth all did a fantastic job installing our laminate kitchen/dining floors. Any questions were answered promptly and when we found some water damage under the old floor, they worked to get it taken care of. We would definitely use them again. They would be the first we'd call.
