HIGHLY recommend Footprints Floors—Gene and his team went above and beyond for our large flooring project and the results are stunning. My husband and I purchased a home and wanted to remove nearly 2,200+ sqft of old carpet, engineered hardwood, and tile flooring and replace it with new LVP prior to us moving in. We coordinated everything while we still lived in California and Gene and his team were so generous to receive our materials, store them in the home, and complete the project within the timeframe we needed. We received a fair invoice, daily pictures of the project, and daily updates to the progress which was so comforting. I was so impressed with the results—even difficult spots like our bullnose corners, oddly angled kitchen, and small closets received great care. It was such a wonderful feeling to move in to the home knowing such a large project was already complete and it made our move and planned renovations significantly easier. To start, let me say I wanted my master bath remodeled and had a terrible time finding a contractor (they either wanted to charge enough to build a whole house or they never called back). My son happened to find Footprint Floors online and took a chance calling them for me. Gene showed up at my house on time, very professional and respectful. I could tell from the start, that he was very knowledgeable and was going to be great to work with. I actually cancelled another estimate and just went with Gene, once I got his very reasonable quote. Gene gave me a start date much sooner than I expected, and communication was great and consistent throughout the job….Then, Diego showed up! That man took my vision and made it come to life! He worked until the job was done, even late some days. He was also so patient with me when I changed the vision slightly. His workmanship is absolutely the best, my bathroom is now about to be the best room in my house! It’s not quite complete yet or I would post a picture. Gene and Diego are magic together, and I HIGHLY recommend them! I was sad to say ‘goodbye’ .

Excellent customer service and professionalism. I have used them for two homes now, they have the best prices, but more importantly is the quality and skill. In just half a day, they carpeted two bedrooms and a staircase. Lupe and his workers were professional and workmanship was impeccable. Previously they did luxury vinyl in my house. The previous installer did such a bad job, it was ripped out, the floor leveled and new flooring installed. I was done with better materials and better job for less money. Highly recommended.

The installation team is one of high quality and caliber. I ordered engineered maple glue-down floors and polished tile for a small bathroom. Vic, crew chief for the wood floors is probably in the top % of installation experts for quality of work and people skills. He is hard working, dedicated, and won't leave a job unfinished. I had some delay in material shipping, and he came back to ensure final touches were complete. For the tile work. Diego was the "guy". Just as high quality of workmanship and caliber as the wood flooring crew. Gene orchestrated the entire process from ordering the floor to the final installation. My time was a bit crunched, and Gene met the demand with swiftness of time and products. Highly recommend Footprints Flooring in the Tampa Bay area. Only one other small-owned shop in the area comes close to the quality of this team but is significantly more expensive. I will definitely use Footprints again!

Gene with Footprints Floors was awesome!!! So was everyone on his team. They did my bathroom tile (shower & floors), entry floor, kitchen backsplash, and LVP throughout. No piece is awkward. Quality is excellent. His prices are fair. He does what he says he is going to do. He keeps you in the loop and gives you all info - there are no secrets. Originally, the plan was to refinish my hardwood floors. However, they were too thin and would tear up. He gave me the pros and cons of doing it, but i decided to switch to LVP. He helped me secure high quality LVP very quickly and made it happen! It looks amazing. The transitions are flawless. The stairs look incredible, they replaced the risers as well. Most importantly - they were friendly, honest, on time, and clean. Would use again in the future.

I had lost confidence in updating my condo after a disastrous experience with interior and outdoor door replacement. When I learned that Gene had opened this business I at least knew I had someone I could trust and that I knew the standards he expected. I’ve referred several friends to him AND he’s helped me identify good painters and carpenters. Prices are fair and his team has been professional and competent. Lots to still do but at least I’ve made the first steps thanks to him.

Let me start by saying, Gene and Diego rescued me from a botched bathroom remodel job. I was a nervous wreck, I was out of thousands of dollars in material costs, the bathroom was inoperable, and it was a nightmare to look at. Nothing was going right until I met these guys. Diego came in knocked everything out, gave me a beautifully tiled bathroom, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. They both were extremely pleasant and responsive and working with the duo was a breeze. Everything was done beautifully and I am extremely pleased. Diego is a magician and Gene has the patience of Job. They removed the old work, executed the new tile installation on the walls and floors, reinstalled the shower wall, and my plumber handled all the remaining installations. Everything was completed in about a week as promised. I will be contacting them in the future for any tile installation projects that I have. Thank you Diego!

He cut 45 degree angles on our corners (marble) instead of using some clunky trim or a schluter. The marble redo of our bathroom is nothing short of beautiful. We had our walk in shower updated by another contractor first who totally messed up our shower floor and it had to re-done entirely, and due to poor tile cutting, we also chose to re-tile the rest of our bathroom floor.
