Scott came out to look at a section of floor that was cupping—shot really straight, gave me some suggestions to remedy the issue before resorting to a whole refinish, and said he’d be happy to help when the other moisture variables were accounted for and we were ready to refinish the whole floor. I’ll definitely be calling them back when we’re ready. Integrity matters and these guys have it.

FOOTPRINTS sent a team composed of three outstanding workers to refinish my red oak kitchen floor. All three of them are of Brazilian heritage. One was born here in the US, but grew up in Brazil. Another -- Marcos the team lead -- was born in Brazil. He arrived in the US at age with his nurse mother 14 years ago. He will become a US citizen in one year. The third worker arrived in the US a couple of years ago, and is now being trained as an apprentice. They're all three hard and skilled workers. They meticulously covered all of my kitchen doors, cabinets countertops and an island with plastic to protect from dust that was created when the oak floor was sanded. Then, they did a great sanding job on the floor. Next, the floor was custom stained to as close as possible match my family room and living room oak floors. All of us thought the chosen stain color was good, until varnish was applied. Then, the color match was clearly not right. Marcos, head of the team, quickly said that they were halting the varnish application, and after it dried they would resand the entire floor to remove the stain and varnish. Next, they sanded the first stain away within a 3 x 3 ft area, surrounding it with blue masking tape and sub-dividing it into 6 separate sections. Marcos then hand mixed 6 slightly different stains. Once those stains were dry, we selected the closest match to the other floors. Result: A perfect match was made and applied. Finally, two coat of commercial grade oil-base satin varnish was applied. Result: A very smooth and outstanding new floor for my kitchen Bravo for FOOTPRINTS, Marcos and his assistants! I highly recommend THEM.

Footprints Floors helped us out in out time of need. We had pipes break in our slab that ended up re plumbing the whole house and moving the a/c heat vents to the attic. The plumbing project required access through a shower wall & the a/c project filled the floor vents with concrete. Jimmy at Footprints took care of these issues for us promptly and professionally. Footprints repaired our wood floors where the a/c vents used to be and did an excellent job. Jimmy also gave us referrals where my wife could pick out material for the shower, while we were getting a new shower we went ahead and got a new floor and countertop as well. We love our new shower and bathroom. Footprints Floors was a silver lining in our home disaster. I would call them again for floor and tile needs and highly recommend them.

Awesome experience from beginning to end!

Footprints did an amazing job on refinishing our 100 yo floors and staircase today including banister. The team worked really hard and were very dedicated to doing a perfect job. I definitely highly recommend them!! We’ll be going back to them for another job later refinishing our kitchen floors.

Let’s just say wow! We had the best experience with Tom Dipaolo at Footprint floors. From the day he came for the estimate until completion, everything was handled better than I could even imagine. We had some snags with a third party tile provider we opted to use and Tom handled everything for us when most contractors would have thrown it right back on my plate. He was super attentive and worked and completed on a super tight deadline. His worker he used was so honest, we entrusted him completely to watch our house while we were out of town for a week and he even got our packages for us. I wish I could only work with contractors as honest and attentive as Tom. We will be using him again and again for any and all projects we get. And he was the least expensive of all of our project bids! You really can’t go wrong with them. We’re so very happy A+

Worked with them for a kitchen backsplash project, and was very happy with all aspects. Chuck was very proactive throughout the project, and his installers were always pleasant and friendly…..very easy to work with. They came 3 separate times, one day to repair the drywall, another to install the tile, and the third day to grout. Each time they finished they did a thorough clean of the kitchen, which was really appreciated. I would definitely use Footprints again.

Joseph Kane was my first contact and he listened to my description of the work I wanted done and gave me a clear and detailed appraisal. He was always professional and courteous. Steve did the actual tile work and was personable and helpful just like Joseph. The job ran into some unexpected problems due to plumbing and they both helped solve them using resources and contacts they had and some creative ingenuity. I cannot say enough great things about this company. We had a repair and we did not have a lot of extra tile. They made it work. We had a floor from 1962, they tore it out and kept the old pink tile we wanted to save intact. I can’t tell you how many times they came by to check on things. And, their craftsmanship is fabulous. I will always get my flooring installed through them.
